Mother Russia was cold as f*ck! But incredibly colorful and historical. We didn't know what to expect visiting Russia but we were pleasantly surprised. This was the first country where we really felt a language barrier with the locals. We managed the complicated metro system, walked through the Red Square, visited St Basil's Cathedral, and strolled through the nearby parks. No pics.. but we also visited a banya, a traditional Russian bathhouse! Never seen so many naked Russians before :p It was the perfect way to start our four-day train journey through Siberia to Mongolia.
